Southlake Classic Pet Retreat is ALL about play! To ensure a safe environment for all our guests, we must evaluate pups prior to daycare or overnight stays. We conduct evaluations Monday through Saturday. We offer 2 appointment slots daily: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. Please click the link below to book an evaluation.
WHAT WE WILL NEED
48 hours prior to evaluation, we must have an up-to-date vaccination record showing he/she is current on all vaccines: Rabies, DHPP or DHLPP, and Bordetella (which we require every 6 months).
Please note that all guests must be spayed or neutered by the time they are 6 months old (special considerations can be made for puppies, so please inquire to one of our staff members).
Once the questionnaire is completed you will receive a link with our availability to schedule the evaluation.
Please arrive on time for your scheduled evaluation. Late arrivals will be rescheduled.
During evaluations, a SCPR associate will provide feedback as to what they observed both during playtime and nap time in the runs. The focus is on recall, aggressive behavior, territorial tendencies and overall disposition. This will determine whether your pup is ready to come and play at Southlake Classic Pet Retreat. Please note that if a pup isn’t ready for our environment, we will make recommendations, which may include further training or additional socialization.
